Indoor Air Pollution at Indoor Swimming Pools

PDF: Indoor Air Pollution at Indoor Swimming Pools

An article from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, dating back to April 2011.

A great read on indoor air quality in pools, with guidelines for all parties using the facility. This article was written around the time of the Evacuator’s inception. Of course now the Evacuator is at the forefront of the battle indoor air quality in natatoriums, alongside UV disinfection systems, among others. The Evacuator eliminates the air-borne tri-chloramines through source-capture technology, which is the most volatile and harmful of the chloramine family. UV is helpful as well, but only helps eliminate water-borne chloramines and deals strictly with water quality.

Please contact us with any questions and concerns about your facility, and our team will be glad to help you solve your indoor air quality problem!
