Breaking the Chloramine Bubble

This article, by Randy Baxter, focuses on the initial concept of the Paddock Evacuator, which developed after a challenge was presented to eliminate the “chloramine bubble” at it’s source – the pool’s surface. Paddock was the only team to respond to the challenge, which was when the Evacuator made it’s debut. The challenge was presented by Randy Baxter, an aerospace engineer by profession, and volunteer engineer/swim parent/swim coach in his free time, who was on the selection committee for the new Westside Aquatics Center in Greenville County.
