Hunterdon-Deck-Drain-Evacuator

The Evacuator in the Deer Path Branch of the Hunterdon County YMCA is a Deck Drain Evacuator System installed behind the gutter, and is coupled with an AAON, Inc. ERV for the added benefit of energy recovery from the Evacuator exhaust. This pool has a full schedule every day of the week, including lap, recreation, and fitness swimming amongst other activities. Like every Evacuator, the impact it made on the air quality was felt immediately and enjoyed by patrons and staff alike.

Frank Barlow

“After having the Evacuator installed and set up, we noticed that the compressors on our Dectron unit seemed to run less as the Evacuator unit was supplying relatively dry air into the space. The chloramines issue has all but subsided and there is no “chlorine smell” emanating from the pool area into our locker rooms. There have been zero complaints from our swim team members as to “swimmers cough” as there had been. We continue to enjoy a more pleasant pool environment and the general membership has commented on how much more comfortable the air has been since this installation”
